Bill’s Blog on the River

Living on the banks of the Nanticoke River in the wonderful state of Delaware, I just had to express my elation that Barack Obama has chosen Delaware Senator Joe Biden as his running mate.

We may be a small state but Senator Joe had done an outstanding job in the Senate representing not only Delaware but also the entire nation and he’s done it for many years without scandal or accusations of impropriety of any kind.

He brings to the Democratic ticket honesty and integrity, which God know we need, but many year of experience especially in the area of foreign relations.

Having been a republican most of my life, I truly believe that they Republican Party has become evil, dominated by men who care more about making money by helping big business, than the real problems that are affecting our nation and our people.

We must get inflation under control.  We must fix the problems with the American educational system.  We must develop alternative energy methods so we are not as dependent on buying oil from those who hate us and our American way of life.  We MUST get out of Iraq and stop the killing of American soldiers.  The reublicans have had 8 years to solve these problems, unfortunately, the relublican either caused the problems or they have made these problems worse.  

The REAL BOTTOM LINE is; “are you better off today than you were eight years ago”?It’s time for a change.
